Patty

Chief Administrative Officer

Patty grew up in Plattsburgh NY. She Attended Champlain College receiving an AS degree in dental assisting in 1980. She then married and made her life in Vermont. She found a lifetime career home with associates in-comprehensive dental care. Family is everything to Patty especially being a grandma. Her grandson and granddaughter are the world to her. She especially enjoys developmental moments that parents miss out. Patty enjoys the mountains and lake Champlain.

Almana

Executive Dental Assistant

Almana
Almana is an aspiring EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant). She graduated from the dental assistant program at the center of technology of Essex in 2013 and has been practicing ever since. Almana loves working in the dental field because she enjoys being a part of helping patients achieve their oral health goals. Outside of dentistry, Almana spends most of her time enjoying the outdoors.

Emily

Dental Hygienist

Emily graduated from the dental hygiene program at Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY, in 2017. She brings years of experience providing comprehensive patient-centered care with a gentle touch. When she isn’t treating patients, she enjoys hiking and mountain biking with her husband, and exploring all that New England’s outdoors have to offer.

Kasey

Director of Human Resources & Employee Engagement

Kasey grew up in South Burlington and graduated from SBHS. She then moved to Sarasota, Florida where she resided for 26 years raising her two sons, Ian and Luke. Kasey recently moved back to Vermont to be closer to family and she is so happy to be back home. Outside of work, Kasey loves to take her three ‘Fur Babes’, Finn, Cade and Rosie for long walks, spending time at the lake and just breathing in the wonderful Vermont fresh air.

Hillary

Patient Care Coordinator

Hillary joined our team in 2024. Behind her beautiful smile is a woman who is passionate about getting to know all of our patients and making sure they receive quality service and attention from our front office. Hillary was born and raised in Vermont. In her free time, Hillary enjoys camping, traveling and spending time with her Fiancé, their 3 kids and 2 fur babies.

Jenna

Chief Clinical Officer

Jenna is a native Vermonter, currently residing in Newport Center with her husband Nick & their twin daughters, Hadley & Reese. She graduated from Vermont Technical College with her associates in dental hygiene. Jenna has worked with in our community as an 802 smiles provider for several years, bringing oral education and access to dental care to students across Orleans County. In her free time Jenna enjoys camping, baking, and home DIY projects.

Cassidy

Dental Assistant

Cassidy has lived in Vermont for her whole life. She has been working as a dental assistant for the past 5 years, working to further her knowledge in dental care, and is currently attending VTC to become a Dental Hygienist. When she’s not studying, Cassidy is traveling around the East Coast and Canada competing in barrel racing competitions with her four horses, accumulating numerous national titles to show for it. With the free time she has left, she also started her own small business selling her artwork and enjoys spending time outdoors while hunting and fishing.

Heather

Office Manager

Heather is a native Vermonter who attended Champlain College for business and office management. She loves to travel with her two boys, Keenan and Keefer. They share a love of sports and it is on their bucket list to visit as many MLB stadiums together as they can. In her free time, she loves reading, baking, music, and water sports (boating, jet skiing, swimming). Heather is an avid concert goer and is enjoying introducing her boys to the concert scene. She is also an animal lover with four cats (Kosmo, Kramer, Coco & Storm) and one gecko (Jello) at home.

Schushona

Insurance Specialist

Schushona is a seasoned dental professional with nearly two decades of experience. Her extensive background encompasses dental assisting, office management, treatment coordination, and insurance claims, providing comprehensive knowledge of dental operations. A native of Chittenden County, Schushona launched her dental career locally after graduating from the Dental Assisting Program in 2007 and the Health Information Management Program in 2009. Currently residing in Newport Center, Schushona prioritizes family time with her husband and three children. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor adventures, caring for her animals, traveling for cheerleading with her daughter and traveling for wrestling for her son.

Bethany

Dental Assistant

Bethany is from a small town in Northern Maine. She moved to Swanton, VT in 2021 after graduating high school. Bethany attended The University of Vermont and The Community College of Vermont. She likes to spend her winters inside spending time with friends and family, and her summers soaking up the warm weather by kayaking, camping, and hiking.

Kaitlin

Patient Care Coordinator

Born and raised in Vermont, Kaitlin currently lives in Essex with her husband, stepdaughter and one year old corgi. She has spent the past 10 years working in the dental field in an administrative role, where she has discovered a true passion for building meaningful relationships with patients and their families. Creating a welcoming, supportive experience is what she loves most about what she does.
