Deb Cossaart grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. She moved to Vermont in 1989 and later earned her Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Vermont College. She worked at Project Independence in Middlebury until her move to Kansas seven years ago. While in the Midwest she helped create and develop the Arts Council of Thayer County, a nonprofit group organized to restore and operate the historic small-town Majestic movie theater in Hebron, Nebraska. For the past 10 years she has enjoyed working with her husband, Jim, as business and office administrator for their dental practices. She also greatly appreciated her education on the Kansas ranch where she learned how to help deliver calves, fix fences and dig thistles. Here in Vermont Deb loves walking with her dog, Grady, yoga, reading and traveling. She and Jim are proud new grandparents of little Elliot Theodore who lives in Brooklyn with his parents.
Christina “Chris” Koliander comes to Bristol Park Dental after working for the American Morgan Horse Association for more than 25 years. At her time at the Association, she held various positions including communications specialist and managing editor of The Morgan Horse magazine. She is thrilled to be working with her friends in the five-town community!
Chris grew up in Montpelier and after graduating with degrees in Journalism and French from the University of Maine, she missed Vermont so much she made the decision to return to her adopted home state. She is an avid reader (no doubt she’ll ask you what you’re reading!), cook, and writer. She moderates at book events in New England, most recently the Boston Book Festival. A longtime resident of Monkton, she makes her home with her partner, Earle Ray, with views of the Hogbacks and Mt. Abe.
Almana Hadzic was born in Bosnia and moved to Vermont when was 6 months old. She graduated from the dental assisting program at the Center for Technology of Essex, VT. Almana enjoys hiking, shopping, and traveling. She has been to Bosnia several times to visit family and to take in the culture and history of the country.
Mikayla, a Middlebury native and graduate of Middlebury Union High School, is fairly new to our practice. She is our jack of all trades, sometimes assisting at the front desk and sometimes assisting the dentist chairside. After working in a veterinary hospital for 3 years, she decided to apply her skills to people. While working here at Bristol Park Dental she is currently enrolled as a Dental Hygiene student at Vermont Technical College, with plans to graduate in 2022. When she’s not studying she can be found fishing, camping, and riding ATVs. She lives with Rebel, her 4-year-old pit bull and her boyfriend Garrison.
Cassandra grew up in Montreal and moved to Vermont in 1996. She attended John Abbott College and worked as a veterinary technician before moving to the U.S. Once settled in Vermont, she was employed as a Medical Assistant at the UVM Medical Center while raising her two children and studying at the University of Vermont.
Cassandra loves to travel, cook, spend time with friends and read.

Barbara Rakow, Registered Dental Hygienist, is a graduate of The University of Vermont. Barbara has been practicing for over 20 years. As a Dental Hygienist Barbara places particular focus on Periodontics, and believes in the therapeutic benefits of providing excellent care.
Barbara hails from Rutland County where she lives with her husband Jimbo and their lovely fur babies. Barbara likes Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain. She has a trained Beta Fish that jumps through hoops. She also is particularly fond of marshmallows and unicorns.
Barbara believes in individualizing treatments in order to provide the most effective outcomes.
Gretchen comes from a highly varied background with an original degree in Geology and Mathematics with previous experience as an Environmental Geologist, Registered Dental, Dental Office Manager, and Mathematics Professor before settling on Dental Hygiene.
Gretchen is passionate about community and teaching, volunteering on numerous boards and is involved in community action. She also has been an active member of the Vermont Dental Hygiene Association since becoming a hygienist in 2010.
Gretchen enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, gardening, sewing, reading, and hanging out with her mini-pit mix, “Stella”.

Jill was born and raised in southern Vermont. She lives just a hop, skip and a jump away right here in Bristol Village. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont where she earned her degree in dental hygiene as well as a B. S. in biological science. She has been practicing dental hygiene for over 20 years and has been a certified expanded functions dental assistant for 17 years. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and patient care. Her gentle touch and chairside manner helps patients feel more relaxed and comfortable during their visit.
Outside the office she loves spending time with her husband Gary (Bristol native) and her two children Griffin and Ava. She enjoys playing soccer, and loves snowboarding,Hiking, biking, wake surfing, surfing and anything else one could think of that involves physical activity and outdoor adventure!
Operations Manager / Registered Dental Hygienist
Jessica is a Vermont native. She began in the dental field 13 years ago. Jessica graduated from the dental hygiene program at Vermont Technical College and earned her MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She brings vast experience from dental assisting to dental hygiene to practice management. Jessica puts a particular focus on education and enjoys working for a local school district as a Tooth Tutor part-time.
When Jessica is not working she enjoys spending time with her two boys and four dogs. Her hobbies include reading, quilting, and lots of fishing!
