Dr. Farid Hamidzadeh
Dr. Farid Hamidzadeh (Dr. H) is a native of South Florida, but has been in Vermont since 2019. He graduated from Deerfield Beach High School and was named a Scholar-Athlete by the Broward County Athletics Association. He attended undergraduate studies at Florida Atlantic University, where he earned his B.S. in both Engineering and Biology. After undergraduate, he earned his dental degree from the University of Florida and went on to attain a Certificate in Comprehensive Dentistry from the Naval Postgraduate Dental School and a Masters of Science in Oral Biology from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. Dr. H has continually pursued furthering his education, which led him to become a Diplomat of the American Board of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. H served as a Lieutenant Commander and comprehensive dentist in the US Navy, where he delivered care at home and abroad. His training allows him to deliver a wide variety of surgical, restorative, and aesthetic procedures at the highest quality. He also performed and published research in the field of orthodontics and did extensive research on the effects of inflammatory cytokines in wounded warriors with PTSD and TBI. He places great value on staying current with the latest technologies to offer the best and most comfortable patient care possible. He serves as an oral board examiner for the American Board of General Dentists. He enjoys utilizing his skills through humanitarian missions, caring for military working animals, clinical case presentations, and lecturing on a wide variety of dental topics. Since moving to Vermont, Dr. H has been active in lobbying for improvements to state sponsored dental coverage to improve access to care and create dental homes for more Vermonters. He was recently appointed by the governor to serve on the Vermont Board of Dentistry, and meets regularly to address dental health issues and regulations in our state.
Dr. H is a dedicated father to his son, Arya. He recently married his partner, Charlotte, who is also our dentist in the Bristol Location! Dr. H spends time in each of our locations focusing on surgical and specialty care. When not at work he enjoys spending quality time with family and his slew of pets, and exploring the great outdoors. Boating, skiing, and hiking are some of his favorites, so give him a big hello if you see him on the slopes or the water!

Dr. Charlotte Hamidzadeh
Dr. Charlotte Hamidzadeh (Dr. C) is a native Nebraskan, and Vermont transplant since 2019 when she moved here to join her partner, our very own Dr. H! She knew from a young age she wanted to pursue a degree in the healthcare field where she could study the biological sciences and fuel her passion for working with people. Through complex orthodontic treatment as a child and a fascination with teeth, she realized dentistry was the career she wanted to pursue. She attained her undergraduate degree in Biology at Nebraska Wesleyan University, where she graduated with high distinction. She then went on to dental school at the University Of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Dentistry, where she graduated with high distinction in 2014.
After graduation, Dr. C began practicing in a small community outside of Lincoln, Nebraska. After a year of private practice, she also started teaching as a pre-clinical Course Director and clinical instructor at the UNMC College of Dentistry. Over the next several years she thoroughly enjoyed both private practice and teaching dental and dental hygiene students. Since moving to Vermont, she has focused again on private practice, but always with the background of academia and research-based techniques. She loves learning new skills and new technologies, and frequently attends continuing education courses both locally and across the US.
Dr. C loves spending her free time with family and friends, and spending time outdoors. She recently married her partner, Dr. H, but don’t worry – you can still call her Dr. C! She is a very proud step-mama, and her favorite outdoor activities are hiking and boating. Her other hobbies include music, food, and spoiling her pets.

Dr. Jim Cossaart
Dr. Jim Cossaart graduated in 1999 from the University of Nebraska at the age of 43, after a twenty-year career as a Kansas farmer/rancher,. Jim and his wife Deb have established, owned and operated a total of four small dental practices over a 20-year period: Middlebury, Geneva and Hebron Nebraska, and finally Bristol. In October 2014, Bristol Park Dental opened in the former office of Kim Montgomery DMD.
Drs. Cossaart and Hamidzadeh soon became friends and were surprised to learn that Doctors Church and Cossaart knew each other from dental school in Nebraska. A new partnership was born, and in the autumn of 2019, Drs. H and C purchased the practice. Dr Jim has returned as a consultant and helps out with other tasks.
Dr. Cossaart is a part-time clinical supervisor in the VTC Hygiene School at Williston where he continues to act as preceptor for the University of New England College of Dentistry, mentoring senior dental students in real-world practice and community dental health outreach at the hygiene school.

Dr. Amy Taggart
Dr. Amy Taggart grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. She is an alumnus of Duke University and a proud user of the word “y’all.”
She received her dental degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, then found her way to the Green Mountain State where she completed a general practice residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Dr. Taggart is a member of the American Dental Association and the Vermont State Dental Society. She loves to do same-day crowns and restorative dentistry. Her goal is to restore and protect teeth through proper preventative care so that her patients can have pain-free, functional dentition throughout their lives.
Dr. Amy lives in Burlington with her fiance, Nick, and their sweet yellow lab pup Raemond. They also share a home with a sourdough starter and too many houseplants. Fun fact- Amy’s future husband is also a dentist- they met at the Vermont State Dental Society conference! Although they both love what they do, sometimes they need to NOT talk about teeth at home.
When she isn’t in the office, Dr. Amy loves to cook, bake, hike, and ski. She watches the Great British Bake-off religiously between bouts of wedding planning and fetch with Rae. Ask her about her favorite local creemee stands and her deep love for traditional Korean food!

Dr. Teerdha Pati
Dr. Pati is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He grew up in India, where he received his initial dental training and then did multiple externships in Japan and across dental schools in the US before joining the DDS program in Michigan. His goal is to bring the best skills, technologies, and research available worldwide together for the care and well-being of his patients.
Apart from dentistry, Dr. Pati loves basketball, adventure sports, and backpacking around the world during his free time. He also enjoys reading philosophy and history with authentic ‘chai’. Feel free to stop by with any suggestions or stories!

Dr. Emily Dawley
Dr. Emily Dawley (She/Her) grew up in Crown Point, Indiana. She is an alumnus of Purdue University where she met her partner, Dakota, in the marching band! She received her dental degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Emily is passionate about helping patients live their best lives. She hopes to help patients feel safe and cared about at the dentist by understanding that each person is unique. Dr. Emily wants to ensure her patients are able to make informed decisions about their dental care. She strives to provide patients with long-lasting, quality dental treatment.
Dr. Emily and Dakota enjoy spending time with their dog, Kimchi, who pretty much does everything with them! They enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and playing disc golf. Traveling is also one of their favorite hobbies, with their most recent trip being to India. They can often be found cooking new recipes and trying new foods!

Dr. James Guilbault
Dr. James Guilbault completed 5 years of dental school at the University of Montreal where he earned his DMD. He then went on to complete a 1-year GPR residency at the Upstate Medical Center and the VA Hospital Clinic in Syracuse, New York, where he had the chance to perform more advanced dentistry such as implant surgery, surgical crown lengthening, oral surgery, molar root canal therapy and custom oral sleep appliances. He also gained experience treating and managing dental/facial traumas and complex odontogenic infections in a Level 1 Trauma center. Dr. Guilbault loves to perform general dentistry but has a strong interest in oral surgery, implants, emergency dentistry and endodontic treatments. Outside of work, he considers himself an avid outdoors sportsman and loves to ski and play hockey in the wintertime, and enjoys cycling, running, and golfing in the summertime. Dr. Guilbault is also passionate about traveling, cooking, and listening to music. He is excited to start his career in the beautiful state of Vermont and plans on establishing himself in the area long term.

Dr. Brad K. Kline
Dr. Brad K. Kline, DMD graduated from Union College in Schenectady, New York, in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then proceeded to Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry and obtained his Dental Degree in 1987. He is a second-generation dentist beginning his career in his father’s Plattsburgh practice in 1987. He branched off and started his practice in 1992 in Burlington, Vermont. Throughout the years he has made efforts towards family & pediatric dentistry, which even led to Governor Mario Cuomo proclaiming February as National Children’s Dental Health Month. He has received multiple merits for his efforts towards children’s dental health, as well as awards from the Dental Society of the State of New York, and remains a member of the ADA & VT State Dental Society. In his free time, he spends time with his wife, two daughters and two Siberian Huskies. He also enjoys skiing at Jay Peak, biking the islands, and windsurfing on Lake Champlain.
