Dr. Farid Hamidzadeh
Dr. Farid Hamidzadeh (Dr. H) is a native of South Florida and a recent transplant to Vermont. He graduated from Deerfield Beach High School and was named a Scholar-Athlete by the Broward County Athletics Association. He attended undergraduate studies at Florida Atlantic University, where he earned his B.S. in both Engineering and Biology. After undergraduate, he earned his dental degree from the University of Florida and went on to attain a Certificate in Comprehensive Dentistry from the Naval Postgraduate Dental School and a Masters of Science in Oral Biology from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. Dr. Hamidzadeh has continually pursued furthering his education, which led him to become a Diplomat of the American Board of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Hamidzadeh served as a Lieutenant Commander and comprehensive dentist in the US Navy, where he delivered comprehensive care at home and abroad. His training allows him to deliver a wide variety of surgical, restorative, and aesthetic procedures at the highest quality. He also performed and published research in the field of orthodontics and did extensive research on the effects of inflammatory cytokines in wounded warriors with PTSD and TBI. He places great value on staying current with the latest technologies to offer the best and most comfortable patient care possible. He serves as an oral board examiner for the American Board of General Dentists. He enjoys utilizing his skills through humanitarian missions, caring for military working animals, clinical case presentations, and lecturing on a wide variety of dental topics.
Dr. Hamidzadeh is a proud father to his son, Arya. He enjoys spending quality time with family and is looking forward to becoming an integrated member of the community to serve your family. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, paddle boarding, skiing, yoga, and hiking beautiful mountain trails.
Dr. Charlotte Church
Dr. Charlotte Church is a native Nebraskan, and now a proud resident of Vermont. She knew from a young age she wanted to pursue a degree in the healthcare field where she could study the biological sciences and fuel her passion for working with people. Through complex orthodontic treatment as a child and a fascination with teeth, she realized dentistry was the career she wanted to pursue. She attained her undergraduate degree in Biology at Nebraska Wesleyan University, where she graduated with high distinction. She then went on to dental school at the University Of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Dentistry, where she graduated with high distinction in 2014.
After graduation, Dr. Church began practicing in a small community outside of Lincoln, Nebraska. After a year of practicing, she also started teaching as a clinical instructor at the UNMC College of Dentistry. Over the next several years she thoroughly enjoyed both practicing and teaching dental and dental hygiene students, and became Course Director for the class which prepares dental students for seeing patients in the clinic. Though she loved Nebraska and both of those positions, it was time to start a new chapter. After some time in a long-distance relationship and many visits to VT, she made the move to join her partner, Dr. H. It didn’t take long for them to realize Bristol is where they want to be long term. They are so excited to start this new adventure serving Bristol and the surrounding areas with compassionate and high quality comprehensive dental care.
Dr. Church loves spending her free time with family and friends and spending time outdoors. Her favorite outdoor activities are hiking and paddleboarding. Her other hobbies include music, food, and spoiling our four dogs, Nala, Ziggy, Razor, and Lulu.
Dr. Jim Cossaart
Dr. Jim Cossaart graduated in 1999 from the University of Nebraska at the age of 43, after a twenty-year career as a Kansas farmer/rancher,. Jim and his wife Deb have established, owned and operated a total of four small dental practices over a 20-year period: Middlebury, Geneva and Hebron Nebraska, and finally Bristol. In October 2014, Bristol Park Dental opened in the former office of Kim Montgomery DMD.
Drs. Cossaart and Hamidzadeh soon became friends and were surprised to learn that Doctors Church and Cossaart knew each other from dental school in Nebraska. A new partnership was born, and in the autumn of 2019, Drs. H and C purchased the practice. Dr Jim has returned as a consultant and helps out with other tasks.
Dr. Cossaart is a part-time clinical supervisor in the VTC Hygiene School at Williston where he continues to act as preceptor for the University of New England College of Dentistry, mentoring senior dental students in real-world practice and community dental health outreach at the hygiene school.
Dr. Amy Taggart
Dr. Amy Taggart grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. She is an alumnus of Duke University and a proud user of the word “y’all.”
She received her dental degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine then found her way to the Green Mountain State, where she completed her general practice residency at the University of Vermont. Dr. Taggart is a member of the American Dental Association and the Vermont State Dental Society.
Dr. Amy lives in Burlington with her partner, Nick, and an excessive number of houseplants. They hope to add a rescue pup to the family soon. When she is not in the office, she loves to cook, bake, hike and ski.
Dr. Roni Golden
Dr. Roni Golden is a nationally recognized leader in dental education. She is the
founder of the Golden Study Group, educating 5000 dentists since 1999. Her philosophy of combining dental education and true learning in a relaxed, inclusive environment (best food in dentistry) has earned her kudos from the country’s leading educators.
A 1982 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Golden is the owner of Associates in Comprehensive Dental Care.
Dr. Golden has a focus on headache medicine and is dedicated to helping patients get better with a cutting-edge, non-drug therapy system.
Dr. Golden lives in beautiful Waterbury Center, Vermont, home of Ben & Jerry’s, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and Heddy Topper Craft Beer, with her three daughters!
Dr. Teerdha Pati
Dr. Pati is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He grew up in India, where he received his initial dental training and then did multiple externships in Japan and across dental schools in the US before joining the DDS program in Michigan. His goal is to bring the best skills, technologies, and research available worldwide together for the care and well-being of his patients.
Apart from dentistry, Dr. Pati loves basketball, adventure sports, and backpacking around the world during his free time. He also enjoys reading philosophy and history with authentic ‘chai’. Feel free to stop by with any suggestions or stories!
Dr. Albert St. Amand
Dr. Albert St. Amand is a native of Burlington, Vermont. He graduated from St. Michael’s College and received his dental degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. St. Amand served in the military at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for two years, where he was mentored in periodontal and surgical procedures.
In private practice, Dr. St. Amand has expanded his skills with extensive continuing education, gaining him a fellowship degree in the Academy of General Dentistry. His skills extend to surgical and reconstructive periodontal procedures and oral surgery. In the early 1980s, Dr. St. Amand received orthodontic training over a four year period while maintaining his private practice.
Dr. St. Amand is an active member of the American Dental Association,® Academy of General Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society, Vermont State Dental Society, Peer Review Committee, Champlain Valley Dental Society.
Dr. St. Amand enjoys the comprehensive approach to patient treatment. Having been schooled in most fields of dentistry, he is able to develop a multi-disciplined treatment plan for the individual patient. This discipline allows for the prioritization of needed procedures. The result is a higher quality of oral rehabilitation combined with a cost-effective approach.
Dr. Chelsea Reid
Dr. Chelsea Reid grew up in Houston, Texas and is proud to be a resident of Vermont. She graduated with a BA in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Rice University and earned her dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Reid brings with her a passion for patient education and a warm chairside manner. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Vermont State Dental Society. When she is not at the office, Dr. Reid enjoys reading, cooking, and hiking with her husband, Michael, and their two dogs, Ace and Abbie.
